Ellen has over 20 years’ experience in leading human resources strategies and programs that support business objectives. Expertise in this field includes: employee relations, organizational learning and development, recruitment and compensation.
As Director of Human Resources, Ellen assists DVIRC in developing and delivering programs which support the organization’s overall strategic direction. Responsibilities include: developing and implementing policies and programs in the areas of employment, training, staff development, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and capacity planning. An additional role she assumes includes support for DVIRC in developing, delivering and evaluating curriculum.
Leadership and assistance in events, which include public and private workshops and customized training, are also services which Ellen provides.
Ellen holds a BA and an MA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
She has acquired certifications in Achieve Global First Level Leadership Training, Lean Level One, Focus on the Front of the Room and Master the Front of the Room through the National Institute of Standards & Technology/Manufacturing Extension Partnership.
