DVIRC (Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center) is proud to announce it has won the Collaboration Excellence Award, presented by the Center for Manufacturing Excellence during the National Manufacturing Conference in September. This accolade celebrates DVIRC’s role and support to the New Jersey MEP Center. NJ MEP leads the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Services – Competitive Awards Program (AMTS CAP) Project Group, a groundbreaking initiative that is driving significant advancements in Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT) for the Bio-Manufacturing, Life Sciences, and Medical Device sectors. This recognition underscores DVIRC’s commitment to collaboration with the national network and its dedication to empowering manufacturers in the digital era. DVIRC was tasked with supporting the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP) by developing an AMT Assessment and supporting eight other centers throughout the U.S. to participate in this benchmarking effort.
AMTS, or Advanced Manufacturing Technology Services, is at the forefront of transforming the manufacturing landscape. DVIRC has been actively supporting the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP) in their AMT Utilization Assessment, a comprehensive endeavor designed to provide invaluable insights into how the nine key pillars of Industry 4.0 can fortify manufacturing firms. The Advanced Manufacturing Technology Utilization Assessment has been designed to provide weighted perspectives and potential improvement recommendations around how the 9 Pillars of I4.0 can strengthen a firm’s: Leadership, Strategy, Culture, Operations and Growth.
