The role   

DVIRC is hiring a senior sales leader to own market penetration and revenue growth across our core business lines: consulting, training, and network programs.

This is a pipeline and close role. You will build a disciplined pipeline, convert it to signed work, and run a sales cadence the organization can forecast against. You will lead and support our Director of Business Development, and you will operate in tight coordination with the COO, so what we sell is deliverable, measurable, and renewable.

Sales priorities

You will build pipeline and close revenue across three core engines:

  1. Consulting
    Sell consultative engagements manufacturers will implement operational performance, business growth services, supply chain, cybersecurity readiness, and modernization roadmaps that convert into execution.
  2. Training and workforce programs
    Grow training revenue through open enrollment, custom on-site programs, cohort-based training, and partner-supported models.
  3. Network groups and convening
    Drive participation and sponsorship for DVIRC network groups, CEO forums, and events that create durable relationships and repeatable pipeline.

What you do

  • Own the forecast and pipeline coverage required to hit quarterly and annual targets.
  • Run weekly pipeline reviews and maintain CRM discipline leadership can trust.
  • Open doors with CEOs and decision-makers and close consultative work.
  • Set standards for qualification, proposal quality, and close plans.
  • Lead the Director of Business Development with clear expectations and accountability.
  • Build referral channels with partners across the region and the MEP/IRC ecosystem.
  • Coordinate with the COO to ensure clean handoffs, scoped work, and strong retention.

  • Qualified pipeline and conversion by stage
  • Closed revenue and forecast accuracy
  • New accounts opened and expansion revenue
  • Deal quality (scoped well, delivered well, renewed)
  • Growth across consulting, training, and network programs
  • Sales discipline and team performance

Who succeeds here

You are a sales leader who can build pipelines, sell credibly to CEOs, and close. You have high standards, follow-through, and you don’t need a lot of supervision. You know how to run a clean sales operating system and coach a team.

You should bring:

  • 10+ years in consultative B2B sales / enterprise BD
  • Proven pipeline ownership and revenue delivery
  • Strong writing and packaging skills (scopes/proposals)
  • CRM discipline and forecast competence
  • Comfort operating in manufacturing or industrial services environments
