[vc_row][vc_column][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_tta_tour style=”flat” shape=”square” color=”white” active_section=”1″ no_fill_content_area=”true” el_id=”dod-tab-list”][vc_tta_section title=”DOD Program Overview” tab_id=”program-overview”][vc_column_text]For the fourth year in a row, DVIRC has been awarded a grant from the Department of Defense\u2019s (DoD) Office of Economic Adjustment to help strengthen the capabilities and competitiveness of small and mid-sized manufacturers (SMMs) critical to the DoD supply chain. Through the project\u2014known as the\u00a0Manufacturing USA Access Project<\/em>, or\u00a0MAP<\/em>\u2014 DVIRC will help SMMs learn about and invest in Advanced Manufacturing Technologies (AMTs), engage in internships to support their need for talent, and put in place cybersecurity systems to protect their operations.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The project builds on the successful work DVIRC completed in prior years, which put in place a regional and national ecosystem working to support and strengthen SMMs in the defense supply chain, spur innovation, and enhance their competitive advantage.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Through the MAP project, DVIRC will continue to focus its efforts on the following areas:[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1600367830027{background-color: #f8f9fa !important;}”]<\/p>\n
