The Position

This position is ideal for someone that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, can handle a multitude of diversified assignments (including data analytics and dashboards), enjoys all aspects of accounting and finance, and is a critical thinker. The individual selected for this role will work closely with the Senior Accounting Manager and will have exposure to all areas of our operations.

Responsibilities will include: the timely and accurate record keeping of financial data, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly closings, journal entries, audit preparation, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. In addition, this individual will be asked to work on ad hoc projects that will include problem-solving, interpreting, and analyzing data. This is a hybrid position offering both in-person/in-office as well as some virtual work-from-home privileges.

Requirements

The qualified candidate will be a self-starter with a strong attention to detail and will have the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, as well as independently. They should also have 2-4 years of relevant experience and be interested in professional development.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting along with strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and strong organizational skills. Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office products (including Power Point and Excel). Experience with Sage Intacct a plus.
