Black Belt candidates learn how to analyze non-normal data and conduct Design-of-Experiments to improve process control and lower production costs. Graduates learn how to become capable leaders of larger teams and how to serve as a technical resource for your organization’s Green Belts. At the end of the 11 day training and after successful project completion, they are verified Black Belts.

Every Black Belt candidate chooses an actual project within their company to work on to reinforce the material learned. This project also provides an immediate return on investment to the company.

Typical Black Belt projects often net more than $100,000 of benefit! In some cases, millions of dollars of improvement have been generated due to finding “lost” capacity. In other cases, the benefit is in scrap reduction or reduction of customer lead times. Prerequisite: Six Sigma Green Belt Training.
