Broad Goals of the Committee

The broad goals of the committee are

  • To understand the current state of affairs among manufacturing SMEs, including the barriers and constraints to making investments in new technologies that enable improved processes and products
  • To understand how CEOs or business owners decide to invest in and justify the investment in these advanced manufacturing technologies
  • To make a series of recommendations for DVIRC to implement in the market to help SMEs evaluate and adopt advanced manufacturing technologies

Data and information will be gathered through surveys and face-to-face interviews. A report and recommendations will be available in July 2016.
