The Association for Manufacturing Technology
DVIRC would like to draw your attention to a tremendous resource for manufacturers in our region.
The Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT) was founded in 1902 in Virginia and designed to educate, represent as well as promote U.S. manufacturing technology. As a member you will have access to valuable information and support necessary related to manufacturing technology.
AMT’s goal is to promote U.S. based manufacturing technology and its members who design, build, sell and service technology – the heart of manufacturing. The AMT provides a broad range of business assistance, global support, and industry intelligence, research analysis and reports. As an advocate for the industry, AMT hosts industry events, creates policy and funding around STEM education to support Smartforce – the future workforce, and provides access to leading edge and potentially disruptive, technologies.
AMT will be hosting the fifth annual MC2 conference, workshop, and expo which will be held in Dallas, Texas from April 19-21, 2016 and will focus on the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT.) During this conference, attendees will learn effective implementation of the digital factory by leading experts through hands-on workshops. Attendees will leave with the knowledge of how to plan, transform, and execute a digital strategy, having learned a new business model for manufacturing technology companies. All areas will be covered from cyber physical security and open architecture to automation, robotics, and new training platforms.
Make sure to register for this informative and beneficial event online today at http://mc2conference.com/index.cfm/registration
The AMT also sponsors The International Manufacturing Technology Show; the premier manufacturing technology event in North America beginning September 12-17, 2016 at Chicago’s McCormick Place.
