The DVIRC is an Economic Development organization committed to assisting small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises compete and grow in the global economy.
For the nearly 25 years we have provided best practice services to address the strategic and operational needs of advanced manufacturers, in every industry sector.
Our experienced professionals work closely with leaders and their teams, challenging long-held assumptions in a constructive way. We are accountable to deliver results, therefore, we specify timelines and performance measures to ensure that tactics are executed successfully, and create value.
We are also passionate about enhancing leadership and team performance skills. The Institute for World-Class Manufacturing® (IWCM®) offers learning opportunities for individuals at every level within a company. The Manufacturers Council and CEO Forum are peer-to-peer network groups for executive leadership. We also focus on addressing the talent shortage needs of regional firms through special projects.
The Philadelphia region boasts approximately 5,000 diverse manufacturing firms. DVIRC believes the region has the necessary characteristics to emerge as an internationally recognized world-class leader in manufacturing competitiveness.
DVIRC is an affiliate of the Industrial Resource Center (IRC) Network, Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) and The National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) program, U.S. Department of Commerce.
