The DVIRC is one of seven Industrial Resource Centers (IRC) in Pennsylvania, and one of 59 Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NIST / MEP) affiliates in the U.S.
In addition to providing consulting services to the 5,000 manufacturers, DVIRC maintains multi-year performance based contracts with Pennsylvania’s Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) and the United States Department of Commerce’s National Institute of Standards and Technology, Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NIST / MEP). DVIRC successfully leverages these contracts to assist small and mid-sized manufacturers compete and grow. At the completion of each project, clients are surveyed by Turner Marketing, an independent market research company on behalf of the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology.
